How to Give to this Ministry
The Frio River Baptist Association (FRBA) is funded by the offerings and gifts of the people and participating churches that make up our Association. Your gifts help us strengthen, encourage and equip leaders within our association and around the world as we work together to spread the transforming message of Christ's love by providing resources, education, and assistance to those in need.
As we seek to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and the two Great Commandments (Matthew 22:36-40), we are especially grateful for the generous donations of individuals and churches who continue to partner with us to fulfill this calling.
In response, we prayerfully strive to follow God’s leading to operate according to Christian principles and to maintain the highest standards of financial ethics.
We have two basic areas for giving: our General Fund and our Mission-Related Designated Funds.
Our General Fund is used to finance our ongoing day to day operational costs. These include:
-- Staff Support
-- Administration - utilities, insurance, office supplies, & building expenses, etc., and
-- Ministry - foreign mission scholarships, evangelism, VBS, youth programs, our resource library, support of church plants, training opportunities for our churches, etc.
Our Mission-Related Designated Funds are used to support many mission endeavors at home and throughout the world. These resources support Bible distribution, support of new churches, Ladies’ Retreats for women all over our service area, Bible translation in Papua New Guinea, disaster relief wherever a need may arise, a variety of projects through our partnership with Operation Christian Love. This mission work includes construction projects, evangelism, education, ministry to prisoners, widows, orphans, oil-field workers, and those living in poverty. We strive to be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit in directing new avenues of service as well.
Frio River Baptist Association is a religious charitable non-profit with our own 501(c)(3) designation. We also fall under the umbrella of the state convention.
