Derek Draper brings a heart for service and a wealth of experience to Simplicity Guardian. After 26 years in pastoral ministry, he transitioned into financial services in 2019 with LPL Financial, bringing the same care and guidance to families planning for their future. Derek holds a BA from Baylor University (where he played football for the Baylor Bears), a Master of Divinity, and a Doctor of Ministry. He also holds Series 7 and 66 registrations and is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor®️ (CRPC®️).
A dedicated community member, Derek serves on several local boards and broadcasts Wylie High School football games. He and his wife are the proud parents of two sets of twins. When he’s not coaching or cheering on his kids, you’ll likely find him following Baylor sports.
